Your fueling had increased, therefore lower city mileage. I reset the trip computer every time I fill up and kind of check it every once in a while, but definitely not religiously. Now what?? Is this normal? Regens were more frequent. Before the tune I averaged 32-34 mpg but now I'm seeing about 25mpg.

MPG is up too, i used to average around 42-44mpg, The trip to the installer i got 38.2 and the trip back i got 49.2 at 70mph with AC on without even trying. Good to know will be interesting to see what fuelly has to say. They did and found that everything except EVAP was ready and said there were no new codes. we are shipping only on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. I did the stage 2 tune along with the delete a few months ago.

at 42k miles i experienced a very long and hot REGEN which caused the DPF to crack and fail internally. Recently did a stage 2 Malone tune with DSG tune. The company’s Stage 2 cam, as tested by Malone Tuning, provided a 100-degree F reduction in EGT (exhaust gas temperature) at highway cruising speed, which is fairly impressive. my malone stage 2 gets me about 45-47mpg at 80mph highway speeds over distance (provided minimal elevation changes) I wonder why I'm not getting that good of mpg. Fuel consumption is fairly simple to adjust using VCDS.

VW MKVI-A6 Golf family including Jetta SportWagen. Fun factor went thru the roof, and the fuel econ increased too. I commute 124 miles a day, and my drip from ~49MPH to ~40MPG is frustrating. They told me the tune wiped out the most recent update which is why we are seeing the P0401 insufficient flow. If you keep your foot out of it I would imagine you will see a considerable increase, that might take 2-3 years to pay for itself.

The APR tune peaked at 2000rpm and sharply dropped as the RPM passed 3k. The days of power and decent mpg are gone. I own a 2013 JSW which i bought new. Recently did a stage 2 Malone tune with DSG tune. They each do nothing but ruin the engine over time.

Sure warranty will cover anything that fails until you reach the time/miles. So quick update. Better fuel economy and better power. I impressed my wife so much with the mileage increase on my '14, she asked me to have her '10 done. Just be conscious of your acceleration and you'll see improvements. Around town and hwy have both gone up with the stage 2 tune, and my wife does have a heavy foot.

They solved an ECU firmware issue following the VW "fix" and got a partial tune (DSG and Stage 1 custom) installed, since I was going to do the Rawtek install myself. But after that, it's a toss up of what's going to fail next.

The tune itself was great as it had higher peak torque at 2k RPM and made the car a lot of fun to drive.
